FIrst time to Prague and booked online as a package with airfare. As soon as I checked the hotel website and found the hotel description to be very impressive, I booked for a rate so low that it left me a little bit uneasy. The hotel is located in Old Town. From the hotel door, I could see the opera house where I attended my first nite in Prague. Old Town Square is an easy 5 minute walk, Wenceslas Square about the same, St. George Bridge about 10 min. I considered the location nearly perfect for someone wantiing to walk to the most prominent places in Old Prague. •Staff - could not be more accomodating, gracious, and efficient. •Lobby - beautiful old-European that has been beautifully restored. The gorgious ?cherry? paneling, highly polished brass, stone floors, extravagant lighting, free use of computer and internet access, and comfortable seating make it a very welcome place. •Bar and Restaurant - great service and scrumptious food to satisfy a discriminating taste. •Room - typical European size (for me it was more than adequate), tastefully decorated, bathroom of marble with high quality fixtures, nicely sound-proofed. A small welcome snack, covers turned back, robe and houseshoes laid out....just like my wife does at home ! The sauna was on my floor and quite handy; just need to reserve a time. •An unexpected bonus was the 2nd floor complimentary breakfast buffet. Open from 6-11 AM, the breakfast is gourmet quality with a wonderful variety of breakfast choices. American coffee, cappaccino, latte, espresso, hot chocolate are available as are fresh orange and grapefruit juices. Eggs, sausage, bacon, cheeses, ham, pancakes, variety of cereals and toppings, fresh fruit, breakfast sweets, gourmet jams, and a variety of breads. Again, just like at home!

Our stay at the hotel palace praha,booked thru online travel website ,turned out to be one of the best travel experiences my wife and i encountered over the past 20 years.the management and staff truly were extraordionary in their efforts to make our stay there as comfortable as possioble.my wife and i travel a lot and really appreciated their concerns. i would like to make a correction to comments made in one of the travel books that stated that the vaque flowers were rerall;y not appreciated,i personally observed daily attendance of fresh and beautiful flowers and plants,this comment needs to be adressed and corrected. we most certainly recommend the hotel palace praha for its outstanding service
