  A friend and I stayed here after an extensive search of hotels in the central part of the city. This was July 2008, and the hotel was by far the cheapest option out there at the time. We were pleasantly surprised when we found out that the cheapest could be clean, up to date, friendly, and close to all the major transportation. Subway, buses and light rail were all within walking distance, several restaurants and shops were on the same block as the hotel. Our only negative would be that we did get a room at the front of the hotel, and although we were 5 floors up we could still hear the clatter of the light rail out front. The breakfast was plentiful, and the staff was nice. I would highly recommend it if you are looking for budget accomodations.
